Pitch Cinema: Goldeneye Martini Day Screening - 19th June

When you think of a Martini, what springs to mind? For many, it’s ‘shaken, not stirred’, 007 leaning nonchalantly against a smoky bar, cooly surveying the room while adjusting his bowtie.

So we thought we’d play up to this cliché to the fullest by honouring the day of the Martini with a screening of one of our all-time favourite Bond films, GoldenEye.

Pierce Brosnan’s first outing as the iconic spy scooped up a number of awards, and was lauded by critics upon release for its revamped special effects, iconic fight scenes, Sean Bean’s memorable Bond villain performance, and for bringing an element of vulnerable humanity to the titular character.

On top of all this, we’ll also be dusting off our old N64 and challenging guests to a big ol’ 007 GoldenEye tournament on our big screen. Winner stays on.

Our victor will win a special prize on the day so get to practicing.

The film will start at 8pm sharp, but we advise guests to arrive as early as possible in order to collect any drinks or snacks they please from the bar, and to get to grips with our N64.
