The best. Hot dogs. EVER. That’s what you get from Tico’s down at Pitch every week. So,
what’s their secret? Turns out it’s all about the Brazilian influence.
Tico’s founder Thiago Gomez was brought up on salsicha, the saucy hot dog Brazilians
associate with carnival, music, beach barbecues and football matches. In short: party food.
No wonder it goes down such a treat at Pitch. Here’s what he’s made of the season so far.
What do you love most about serving street food at Pitch?
The place is so colorful and vibrant, it gives everyone a boost of energy and puts them in a
good mood. We love to serve happy people.
Which is your favourite night at Pitch and why?
Fridays. The beginning-of-the-weekend vibe creates a great atmosphere and there’s a nice
mix of people – some relaxing on beanbags, others looking to party. It’s great.
What is the most popular dish you sell at Pitch?
Our Beef Dog. It’s a frankfurter hot dog served with pulled beef short rib on top.
What drink from the Pitch bar goes best with your food?
The very tasty lager from Camden Town Brewery.
Which team are you supporting in this year’s World Cup?
Brazil and England
Tico’s has a permanent stall at Pitch. Find them here whenever we’re open.
